3. FreeStyle Libre & LibreLinkUp Setup

To use GluQuo with your FreeStyle Libre sensor, you'll need to set up LibreLinkUp sharing. This allows GluQuo to securely access your glucose data from the cloud.

Step 1: Set Up LibreLink on Your Phone

If you haven't already, download and set up the official LibreLink app:

  1. Download LibreLink from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Create an Abbott account or sign in
  3. Pair your FreeStyle Libre sensor with LibreLink
  4. Scan your sensor to verify it's working

Step 2: Enable LibreLinkUp Sharing

LibreLinkUp is Abbott's companion app that allows you to share your glucose data with others (and with GluQuo).

1 Open LibreLink App

Open the LibreLink app on your phone where your sensor is connected.

2 Go to Connected Apps

Tap the menu icon (three lines) → Connected AppsLibreLinkUp

3 Enable Sharing

Toggle on "Share glucose data with LibreLinkUp". This uploads your readings to Abbott's secure cloud.

4 Invite Yourself to LibreLinkUp

Tap "Manage Connections" and add your own email address as a connection. You'll receive an invitation email.

Step 3: Set Up LibreLinkUp Account

1 Download LibreLinkUp

Download the LibreLinkUp app (separate from LibreLink) from your app store.

2 Create/Sign In to Account

Create a LibreLinkUp account using the same email you invited, or sign in if you already have one.

3 Accept the Invitation

Open the invitation email and accept, or the connection will appear automatically in the LibreLinkUp app.

4 Verify Data Sync

Open LibreLinkUp and verify you can see your glucose readings. This confirms cloud sync is working.

Step 4: Connect LibreLinkUp to GluQuo

Now you can connect your LibreLinkUp account to GluQuo:

1 Open GluQuo

Go to SettingsCGM Provider → Select FreeStyle Libre

2 Enter LibreLinkUp Credentials

Enter your LibreLinkUp email and password (not your LibreLink credentials).

4 Sync Your Data

Tap "Connect" and GluQuo will automatically sync your glucose readings.

Tip: GluQuo syncs your glucose data automatically every 15 minutes. You can also manually sync by tapping the sync button on your dashboard.

Important: Make sure you're using your LibreLinkUp credentials, not your LibreLink credentials. These are two separate accounts, even if they use the same email.

4. Dexcom Setup

GluQuo connects to Dexcom using their official API for secure, reliable data sync.

1 Open GluQuo

Go to SettingsCGM Provider → Select Dexcom

2 Sign In to Dexcom

You'll be redirected to Dexcom's secure login page. Enter your Dexcom account credentials.

3 Authorize GluQuo

Review the permissions and tap "Allow" to authorize GluQuo to access your glucose data.

4 Data Sync Begins

GluQuo will automatically sync your glucose readings. This happens every 5 minutes in the background.

Note: GluQuo supports both Dexcom US and international accounts. Make sure you're signing in to the correct region.

5. Understanding Your Dashboard

Your dashboard is the command center for your metabolic health. Here's what you'll see:

Current Glucose Reading

The large number in the center shows your current glucose level in mg/dL (or mmol/L based on your settings). The trend arrow indicates if your glucose is:

24-Hour Graph

The graph shows your glucose levels over the past 24 hours. The green zone indicates your target range (default: 70-140 mg/dL).
